A short description about Nainsi
Nainsi is a freelance textile print and graphic designer with more than 8 years of experience now. She is working worldwide/globally with fashion apparels & accessories /home furnishings/ wallcovering etc. industries. She has completed her master's in Textile Design from Pearl Academy Of Fashion,New Delhi. INDIA.

Where did Nainsi learn how to create surface designs
Nainsi loves nature and within nature she founds beautiful flower compositions/layouts and where she started sketching and gradually she shifted to design software Like Adobe Photoshop. At Initial stage she started working with home furnishing export houses where she designed surface embroideries/ fabric manipulation techniques for quits/curtains/cushions /tabletop/ placemats etc. She combined various surface print designs with surface manipulations techniques for International clients.

How does Nainsi source her inspirations
Being a nature lover, She always found her 1st design inspirations from nature( Florals/botanical themes/ abstract themes/ animal skin textures etc. ). She also studies trend forecast magazines/ online blogs/ color trends to take inspirations for developing a design collection.

What does Nainsi think about the future of Surface Patterns during Covid 19
During COVID 19, surely the textile market was affected but seems everything is now going digitally so it's good for a surface pattern designer. Now we have a great opportunity to show our work worldwide. Earlier, every design studio had their own designers so they are not willing to start with new designers or they don't have much time to see online design platforms. but during lockdown I feel now they have started seeing online design platforms to see patterns which are readily available online and  they are able to purchase designs without any hesitations.
So I feel if we do a good marketing then online surface patterns platforms can grow on a much larger scale.

What is Nainsi next working on?
Up next, Nainsi is working on paisley floral designs for fashion accessories/garments/ home furnishing products.
