Cancellation, Return and Refund Policy

When you shop on Ready Pattern, you can purchase items sold directly by Ready Pattern or by third-party sellers who list their products for sale on our marketplace. In either case, our goal is to provide you with an outstanding customer experience every time you shop with us. This Return Policy covers all items purchased through Readypattern.com. It's designed to give you confidence that we stand behind the products on our marketplace and to make returns easy if you're not fully satisfied with an item. You should review these terms carefully before making any purchase.

For the sake of this contract, following definition shall be used:

Delivery

“Delivery” of Digital files is the sending of digital file links via emails from readypattern.com server to the customer email id or availability of design links in the Downloads section of My Account. The delivery of products on Ready Pattern is not related to the download of digital files by the customer, expiry of digital files links, unavailability of sufficient bandwidth to download or any other reason. The delivery of digital products by Ready Pattern involves only the availability of file links to download the digital files. Ready Pattern takes care to maintain sufficient bandwidth to servers to allow fast downloads as well as uses a market expert email service to ensure the emails reach the inbox of the customers, however if the emails reaches the spam or is blocked or deleted - Ready pattern shall not be held responsible.

“Delivery” of non-digital files or physical products is the initiation of the order processing or packaging. Even if orders have been processed or packed but not dispatched from Ready Pattern warehouses, they shall be considered as delivered as for some products, warehousing is maintained by the seller or external agency that incur purchasing/leasing/renting and packaging costs as soon as the processing or packaging begins.

Product Description

Also referred to as the product listing page, design description, product information, product identifiable information or item description includes only the visual aspects (by naked eye) of a product (i.e product images) if the product is a digitally delivered product. It specifically does not include the following information:

  • Design Templates and different graphics used to display the digitally downloadable product in different test scenarios. The products may look different in the templates as compared to the original digital file. The templates are used for representation purpose only.
  • No. of layers - This refers to the number of design layers as per Wikipedia description of design layers present in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. The no. of layers are calculated by processing the digital file electronically through a software and results tend to be in accurate.
  • No. of separable and No. of non separable elements - These words used are often translated from different languages as mentioned by the seller and may have a different meaning in the languages read. This information may tend to be incorrect and is for representation purposes only.
  • Design Name and description - Designs names and descriptions may be auto generated or given by the sellers in order to market their product on Ready Pattern platform or rank higher on certain keywords. Ready Pattern tries to maintain checks on the names and descriptions but in certain  cases they may not represent the actual contents of the design or may be translated from the original language in which it was written by the seller. Only the naked eye visual aspects of the product - Single product image are to be kept in mind.
  • Product tags - Product tags may be auto generated or given by the sellers in order to market their product on Ready Pattern platform or rank higher on certain keywords. Ready Pattern tries to maintain checks on the tags but in certain cases they may not represent the actual contents of the design or may be translated from the original language in which it was written by the seller. Only the naked eye visual aspects of the product - Single product image are to be kept in mind.
  • Visually similar Products - Visually similar products are processed via Artificial Intelligence that may or may not use third party services. Such products only show closely related products and may or may not be related to the original product.
  • Live Chat - Information shared via live chat may or may not be accurate as live chat may generate auto replies algorithmically.

Returns

If you're not satisfied with an item that you purchased on Ready Pattern, you can initiate a return within 7 days after delivery for a refund. Items that have been used or modified in any way may not be returned. After 7 days of delivery the order is deemed to be accepted by the customer and Returns are not possible. The conditions which must be satisfied for any product on Ready Pattern to be eligible for a return are as follows:

  1. The product has satisfied any of the conditions of a Damaged Product.
  2. The product has satisfied any of the conditions of a Missing Product.

To return an item, visit the My Account page, select the "Return or Replace Item" button for the appropriate order and follow the instructions. You are to create a ticket within 7 days after the delivery of the product. Tickets are the only way such information of returns can be communicated to us. Any other means of communication such as social media, emails etc shall not be considered. You are completely responsible for raising the ticket on time. 

For non-digital products or physical products, you will be responsible for the return shipping costs (even if you use a return shipping label provided by Ready Pattern or the seller), including in instances where the item arrived damaged or defective. Note that the option to initiate a return will only appear for 7 days after delivery.

If you send the item back without a label from Ready Pattern or the seller, we recommend insuring your return shipment and using a trackable shipping method. Refunds will not be issued for items damaged in return transit or for returns that are never received.

The following items may not be returned:

  • Items marked as final sale or "non-returnable" on the product page or during the checkout process;
  • Gift cards

If and only if the product is a non-digital product or a physical products where delivery is only made via a shipping carrier:

  • Images have to be provided of the packaging of the product along with the shipping label clearly visible.
  • Images have to be provided with the contents of the items.
  • A letterhead with signature of the buyer clearly stating that the product was delivered damaged and has not been tampered with by anyone after the receipt of the product.

Damaged and Defective Items

In the unlikely event that an item you ordered arrives damaged or is defective, you may return the item (and any other items from that order if they are part of a set) for a replacement or a full refund, as long as you report the issue within the following timeframes - The conditions which must be satisfied to be eligible to be accepted as a Damaged Product are as follows:

If and only if the product is a design, image, vector, pattern, stock, artwork or painting where delivery is only made digitally:

  1. The product is not visually similar as per naked eye on the product listing page compared to the digital files submitted.
  2. Parts or all of the product identified as design elements according to the Wikipedia definition, visible by naked eye on the product page are missing, different or unlocatable in the digital files submitted.
  3. The digital file is corrupt (Cannot be opened on a PC with minimum configuration of i5 - X4 core - 8GB RAM with Adobe PSD / AI Original version)

If and only if the product is a non-digital product or a physical products where delivery is only made via a shipping carrier:

  1. The product is not visually similar as per naked eye on the product listing page compared to the products delivered..
  2. The Product has been damaged by the carrier
  3. The Product has been sent damaged by Ready Pattern or its sellers.
  4. The product is defective and not according the standards stated in the description of the product on the product listing page.

You can find the type of delivery (parcel or freight) for your item listed on your shipment confirmation email.

We encourage you to inspect the packaging of the item before you accept the item from the carrier. If the packaging or the item appears damaged when it arrives, you should take pictures of the damage and you may inform the carrier and refuse delivery. In that case, please report the issue within the applicable timeframe listed above and you can choose to receive a replacement or a refund. To report an issue with an item, please visit the “My Orders page”, select the “Raise a Ticket" button for the order and follow the instructions to raise a ticket within the given time frame. You must raise a ticket within the mentioned maximum time limit after the order has been delivered. You may be required to submit photographs of the damaged or defective product and its packaging (the original packaging is required to facilitate a return unless it was damaged in transit and is unusable). Important Note About Freight Forwarders: If you decide to use your own freight forwarder to ship an item or if you export an item outside India yourself or through another carrier, then Ready Pattern will not be responsible for providing any replacement or refund for any damaged or defective items. You should not list Ready Pattern on any export documentation.

Missing Items and Delayed Delivery

If your order is missing any items or parts, please notify us as soon as possible and no later than 30 days after delivery. If the item was sold by Ready Pattern, you should contact Ready Pattern Customer Support by clicking the "Contact Ready Pattern" button on “My Orders” page. If the item was sold by a third-party seller, you should contact the seller directly by clicking the "Contact Seller" button. That way, the right person can help you resolve the issues as quickly as possible.

The conditions which must be satisfied to be eligible to be accepted as a Missing Product are as follows:

If and only if the product is a design, image, vector, pattern, stock, artwork or painting where delivery is only made digitally:

  1. Parts or all of the product identified as design elements according to the Wikipedia definition, visible by naked eye on the product page are missing, different or unlocatable in the digital files submitted.
  2. Any Digital file type  - AI, PSD, BMP or JPEG are missing as per the description on the product page. For non-commercial designs only low resolution flat jpeg images are provided. For other design types, digital file types available for each product are as mentioned on the product listing page for that design.
  3. Products where digital files are submitted after receipt of payment and time limit has been exceeded by the seller to provide digital files by 5 working days over and above the actual duration mentioned by the seller on the product listing page. (If the seller has mentioned 3 days, only on the 9th day after the order has been placed, the order will be eligible for a return or cancellation for the products which have not received the digital files against over the mentioned time period)

If and only if the product is a non-digital product or a physical products where delivery is only made via a shipping carrier:

  1. Parts or all of the product has any item missing as per the description on the product page.
  2. Product has not been delivered for 60 days from the date of purchase of the item.

For all other product types, written letter is to be taken by Ready Pattern before the purchase of such items. If no letter is taken then such a product will be deemed to be a digital product.

 

Cancellations

Order cancellations are not possible for any digital product sold on Readypattern.com - (not limited to) - designs, images, graphics, logos, patterns, vectors, artworks, paintings (Also includes offline orders, orders in exhibitions, etc). Once the order has been placed for a digital product, the digital files are almost instantly available for download. Whether the uses downloads the digital files or not, the very availability of digital files in My Account Section or via file links sent by email is considered as the product to be delivered. Such orders cannot be cancelled. Order cancellation can however be auto processed if the order contains digital products and the payment has failed or unprocessed. In spite of the above stated facts, should you wish to cancel an order, raise a ticket from the applicable section of “My account” on Readypattern.com

Orders apart from those containing digital products containing products which are to be physically delivered via a courier, are eligible for cancellation provided the order has not been sent for packing and processing in the warehouse of Ready Pattern. Undispatched packed and processed products orders cannot be cancelled. Only orders that have not been dispatched or packed or processed and has a non-digital product, then that product from the order can be cancelled.

Refunds Policy

If you raise a ticket for an eligible return and the return of product is accepted based on the information provided you, then you may be eligible for a refund. Ready Pattern has no mechanism designed to refund you via the original payment method used. Ready Pattern can only issue the refund via a credit note which can be consumed only on Readypattern.com again. Refund to the original payment method may or may not be possible in India and may be subject to refunds via credit notes only. The credit note will have a validity of 6 months from the date of issue of the credit note. The credit note if lost, misused or consumed intentionally or unintentionally will not be replaced or refunded back to you (the customer). The credit note has to be taken care of by you (the customer). Credit notes may or may not be subject to tax and the tax amount and payment gateway fees incurred may or may not be refunded.

Credit notes may or may not be issued of the complete amount of the purchase of the buyer. Each credit note is governed by a different clause from a case to case basis. There may be some deductions while issuing the refund such as charges incurred by the payment gateway or if the product is not eligible for a complete refund.

If a discount coupon / credit note or eligibility of sale is used at the time of purchase then the final amount paid to Ready pattern after deducting all the credit notes, sales discounts and discount coupons in the order, the final amount remaining will be considered as product price paid as well as amounts eligible for refund shall reduce considerable - shall be a case by case basis and Ready Pattern shall take the final decision in such cases. You may or may not receive a refund for any amount you may have paid through Ready Pattern to have the item shipped to you. If you use a return shipping label provided by Ready Pattern or the seller, the shipping costs will be deducted from the amount of the refund due to you, if applicable.

Warranty Information

Some products may be covered by a manufacturer’s warranty. Please contact the seller of the item to learn more about its warranty coverage. Ready Pattern does not interfere in the warranty provided by the seller. If the copyrights have been breached then the buyer must go along the terms and conditions of Ready Pattern. The terms and conditions of Ready Pattern clearly state that ready Pattern is only a mediator for the supply of designs from the seller by providing a platform, the copyrights are solely and completely issues by the seller. Should ready Pattern receive sufficient information for the design breach according the Terms and Conditions, then Ready Pattern may or may not share the information of the seller to the buyer.
