Geometric Textile Designs and Patterns give an edgy and fashionable look to every outfit. No doubt, top designers swear by geometrical patterns to stand out and make a bold move. The runway has seen numerous geometrical patterns and prints which not only starts a trend but also provides tons of inspiration for the new fashion season. The New York Fashion Week saw geometric patterns rule the runway and setting trends for the upcoming season Autumn/Winter 2021.

Designer Akris brought black and white geometrical patterns and prints to the runway in the New York Fashion Week. Ready Pattern curated the best looking patterns that follow the trend and brings justice to it. Elgin, a surface pattern designer created patterns and prints for A/W 2021 following the latest trend in geometrical patterns.

Missoni is famous for her zig zag geometricals, her print and pattern collection on the runway in the New York Fashion Week was adorned by all. Ready Pattern has followed the trend and has brought patterns and prints below which are similar to the trend.

Geometric patterns have been utilised over decades in the fashion industry and in contemporary times have been paired with other prints as well. Pattern trends 2021 have been forecasted to include geometric prints with a twist that hasn’t been seen before. Amalgamated with bright electrifying colours and modifying the shapes, geometric patterns in the coming seasons are packed with excitement. With print on print technique, the shapes are placed on top of each other and create aesthetically appealing chaos of thrill. We have also noticed optically illusions and 3D effects that have been created with these patterns and we predict that this trend is going to take the world and especially activewear by a storm. With several variations of found within geometric patterns, twisted plaid to clean stripes are forecasted to be a major fashion fad in the coming season. Art deco motifs that represent well-defined shapes, symmetry, bold colours and a symbol of luxury. Art deco is closely linked and also combined with the geometric trends in the upcoming season.
